Active employee involvement
At Distell, we recognise that employees make a significant contribution to their communities and wish to support their initiative. The Distell Foundation's Employee Volunteer Programme supports community-based and non-profit organisations when staff members are actively involved in these projects.
Employees may apply for financial support to further benefit a project or organisation they are actively involved with and feel passionate about. Organisations that benefit from the outreach programme may receive funding or materials to assist them in their cause. During the annual Employee Volunteer Week, volunteers offer services that include painting, gardening and other maintenance work of neglected buildings and community centres. This involvement unites a varied group of people in working for the betterment and joy of communities in need.
